Day by day itinerary
Day01:Arrive in Beijing
Pick up at Beijing International airport and transfer to the hotel.The rest time is for yourself to desicover the beauty of Beijing.
Visit Tian'anmen square and the Forbidden City, which is the largest ancient imperial palaces group in the world with 500 years history.
In the afternoon Visit the Temple of Heaven - the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world.
The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quan Ju De restaurant and then you will be entertained by Peking Opera performance at a famous Theatre.
Drive to the Badaling Great Wall, which is 60 miles away from downtown and about 1.5 hour's driving. After lunch, drive (20 minutes) to the Ming Tombs, the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history .
Day04 Beijing [B+L+]
Visit the Summer Palace , the Lama temple. The Summer palace is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden .
Day05 Beijing-Xian [B+L+]
Shannxi History Museum, visit to Banpo Ancient Village - the remains of a neolithic village dating back 6000 years.
Day06 Xian [B+L]
In the morning walk on the ancient City Wall which was built in 1370 A .D .
Visit the Great Mosque,Bell tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Big wild Goose Pagoda is the ancient Buddhism temple, and museum for the famous monk-Xuan Zang.
At night,enjoy the local speciality-the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.
Day 08: Lanzhou[B+L+D]
A full day excursion to the Binglingsi Grottoes. Located on the north bank of the Yellow River, Binglingsi Grottoes is one of the six famous Buddhist Caves started by some Buddhist monks from as early as the year of 265-316.
Day 09: Lanzhou - Xiahe[B+L+D]
Drive to Xiahe and transfer to the hotel.Vist Sangke Grassland which is famous for holding royal Buddhist ceremony in history and is considered to be small Tibet.If you have time ,you can take a chance to visit a Tibet family.
Day 10: Xiahe - Lanzhou[B+L+D]
Visit the Labrang Monastery and have a watch of the morning devotion there. It was built in 1709 by a monk from the nearby village of Ganjia named E'angzongzhe, who was to become the first of the monastery's Living Buddhas (Jiemuyang). Drive back to Lanzhou.
Drive to Jiayuguan and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Jiayuguan Pass, the First Fire Tower of Great Wall and the Wei-jin Art Gallery.
Day 12: Jiayuguan - Dunhuang [B+L+D]
Drive to Dunhuang and transfer to the hotel. You will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the Crescent Moon spring.
Day 13: Dunhuang - Turpan [B+L]
Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan.
Day 14: Turpan [B+L]
Pick up at Turpan railway station and transfer to the hotel. After having breakfast at the hotel, visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.
Day 15: Turpan - Urumqi [B+L]
Day 16: Urumqi - Shanghai [B+L+D]
Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and a local family. Enjoy a farewell Shanghai Cuisine dinner. The memorable dinner will be followed by Acrobatic Show .
Day 17: Exzit Shanghai[B]
