Day by day itinerary
Day01: Xi'an   (B,L,D)
In the morning Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Huaqing Hot Springs. Visit the Big willd Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Walls.

Terra-cotta Army: Emperor Qin Shihuang's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, built on the ruins of Emperor Qin Shihuang's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses pits, is a modern museum for archaeological excavation, scientific research, exhibitions, cultural relic protection and tourism service. It lies in Lintong District of Xi'an city. Emperor Qin Shihuang' Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1987 and praised as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Huaqing Hot pool which ienjoys great prestige both at  home and abroad with an imperial garden history and a thernal spring utilizing history of  6,000 years. At night, enjoy the widely eulogized love story, the large musical drama with true mountains,true  water,and  true  story- Tang huaqing palace (free by yourself).

City Wall: was extended on theremains of Sui and Tang imperial cities in the third year of Hongwu under the reign of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang in Ming Dynasty (A.D.1370). This gigantic project tasted eight years. As the largest and well-presserved ancient city wall in China, it has been listed by th State Council as one of the first group of key historical relics under national protection since 1961. Xi'an City Wall is magnificent in structure and exquisite in design. The overall length of the rectangular wall is 13.74 km with the distance from west to east a little longer than that from north to south.

Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda: regarded by many as a symbol of the city Xian, the pagoda was built in 652 A.D. in Tang Dynasty to house the sutras brought back from India by the famous monk Xuan-zang. and Visit the Provincial Museum -a magnificent architectural complex in the Tang Dynasty style. the museum exhibits over 3,000 unearthed historical relics, a small fraction of their collection. And then dirve to Xian Xianyang Airport in the afternoon for departure.

Day02: Xi'an - Dunhuang   (B, D)   Flight to Dunhuang CZ6896, 1335/1555 Visit White Horse Pagoda
The morning is at your leisure before boarding your flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to visit White Horse Pagoda, the first Buddhist temple in China. White Horse Pagoda was built in order to pay their respect to those monks who had dedicated their life to the spreading of Buddhism. After that, transfer to your hotel to check in.


Day03: Dunhuang - Turpan   (B, L)   Visit Mogao Grottoes, Dunes of Singing Sands, Crescent Moon Lake/camel ride, Turpan via overnight train   T216,2016/0822
Today you will first visit the Mogao Grottoes, some of the most famous grottoes in China. Later you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the Dunes of the Singing Sands. Finally, you will visit the Crescent Moon Lake (ride a camel) .In the evening, you will take an overnight train to Turpan.
Crescent Moon Lake.The Singing Sand Mountains are famous for the sounds the wind makes when blowing over the dunes. Also, the sand is said to be rather noisy when tread upon. The dunes are also famous for their size, some reaching 100m or more, relatively stable despite the fact that the dunes beyond the mountains shift frequently. Also, the sands are said to regain form overnight if tread upon the day before.
 Mogao Grottoes, is one of the biggest and most significent grottoes in China. The Mogao cave complex is comprised of 492 caves, containing 450,000 square feet of murals dating from the fourth to the fourteenth centuries - a period which corresponds to an immense growth in international commerce along the nearby Silk Road
Day04: Turpan   (B, L, D)   Visit Jiaohe Ruins, Karez Well, Emin Minaret(sugong Pagoda)
Upon arrival in Turpan in the morning, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a little break, you will start the day with a visit to the Jiaohe Ruins, the best preserved town ruin in China initially built about 2000 years ago. After lunch, also pay a visit to the Karez Well, which is an underground irrigation system that was installed 2,000 years ago. Then you proceed to the Emin Minaret (Sugong Pagoda), the largest Muslim tower in Xinjiang region.

Day05: Turpan - Urumqi via private coach   (B, L, D)   Visit Gaochang Ruins, Bezklik Thousand Buddha caves, Flaming Hill, Urumqi via private coach
Continue your Turpan exploration with visits the Gaochang Ruins, the ancient walled capital of the Uighurs which flourished between the 7th century and 14th century. The next stop is the Bezeklik
Thousand Buddha Caves. After lunch, proceed to the Flaming Hill, one of the hottest places on earth. Then drive to Urumqi, the next stop on our westward journey along the Silk Road.

Day06: Urumqi- Kashgar   (B, L, D)   Visit Heavenly Lake (Tian Chi), visit Khazah Yurts, Flight to Kashgar CZ6809,2115/2255
In the morning drive about 115km to Heavenly Lake (Tian Chi), which is renowned as one of the nicest tour destinations in all of China. Surrounding the Heavenly Lake are snow mountains, glacier forests and grassland alpine lakes (visit khazak Yurts) , featuring a vertical natural landscape belt. And the fly to Kashgar.
Day07: Kashgar   (B, L, D)   Visit Karakuli Lake
Start in the early morning to visit the Karakuli Lake. Karakuli Lake is 3,600 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Maztagata Mountain, some 190 kilometers from Kashgar. It is an unspoiled natural paradise with breath-taking natural scenery. A leisurely walk along the lake is also refreshing and pleasant.After that you will back to Kashgar city.

Day08: Kashgar   (B, L, D)   Visit Id Kah mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb(Tomb of Xiangfei)
Today you will tour the largest mosque in China-the Id Kah mosque, which covers an area of 16,800 square meters.And then is to visit the Abakh Khoia Tomb ( Tomb of Xiangfei), the most magnificent and well-preserved Islamic architectural complex in Xingjiang. First build in 1640, the buildings exhibit Uygur and Arabic architectuaral styles as well as some Buddhist symbols.

Day09: Kashagar-Urumqi   (B, L, D)   Visit Kashgar sunday Bazaar, flight to Urumqi  CZ6802, 2245/0025
In the morning you enjoy wandering the Kashgar Sunday Bazaar.Througout the streets, tourists can find markets selling various daily-life goods. After that, you will take a flight to Urumqi.
Day10: Urumqi- Beijing   (B)    Flight to Beijing CZ6907, 0900/1240
